As a versatile mobile DJ there are a number of events I can provide some amazing tunes to – and a 60th birthday party is definitely included in this statement!
This particular 60th birthday party was held in a village pub with a lovely function room near to where the birthday and his wife lived. The room was decorated with 60th birthday party decorations and looked very welcoming!
At the start of the night after I had set up, popped some background music on and the guests had arrived there was a buffet for the guests to enjoy whilst they mingled with the birthday boy. There were friends and family of all ages so the background music I had chosen was a mix of Motown. This background music isn’t included in the following playlist. I had no song choices before the 60th birthday party, but was told music from 50’s, 60’s, 70’s ad 80’s would be great for the night, but to mostly read the crowd. No problem for me!

Going to be celebrating my 60th birthday in September 2022 and am just doing preliminary arrangments, sounds like you could be a good choice.
As a alternative music guy I was going to trash your list and least not comment and move on but decided to go through it , think it’s an excellent list with a really good view of each decade without putting in cheesy , some great choices . completely different to what I will be having as I’m an alternative music nerd , it will be curated by me no requests it’s my 60th , god help them
